have to go back a couple of posts to see if i posted the anime in which this character of the week is from. this outrageous speedster is Straight Cougar, he comes from the anime s-cry-ed. and as i stated before, he is a speedster, in a land where humans started to gain abilities that reflect on their inner selves, this man’s abilities manifested in two ways: 1. he can transform any vehicle into a fast ass almost rocket with uncontrollable speed, but off course he can control it. 2. if he has to do precision work, he can summon a kinda suit on himself that allows him to fly at supersonic speeds. i love this guys, he’s funny ass hell, loyal to the main character of the series, kinda like a big brother, and when he gets into his talking mode, its as if u aren’t there with him. he will talk and talk until he is finish making his point.lmao. cougar is great and deserves to be c.o.w…
saw this and went ape shit. this movie is exactly what i was hoping for in a justice league movie. seeing how the justice league can’t be beaten, the question is, how do u beat them? simple u use the one member paranoid enough to come up with back up plans in case a member of the justice league goes rogue. yes ppl this movie comes from the comics when long story short someone finds batman’s back up plans to take down any and every member of the league that goes rogue, then the bad guys put together a team that suits batmans plans and then uses it against the justice league. AMAZING!!!! and on top of that u have the voice of batman being none other than KENVIN CONROY. i mean come on guys this man has been batman forever, i can’t picture any other person attempting to be batman on the cartoon screen. cant wait for this release. think it goes down in feb of this year.
i’ve seen a lot of anime about armies invading the opposing camp and destroying it completely but come on man. in naruto, pain infiltrates konoha single handedly with konan and fucks that village up. here is the fight before naruto made it on scene.
in the world of anime, when u jump into a giant robot and control it from within, that machine is called a mecha. but these are other names for mecha, gundam, arm slaves, heavy bipedal tanks, and amongst all those names this name stands out to me. and that name is Knightmare. yes that is the name of the fighting machines in the anime CODE GEASS. like in my previous post about the serious stating how it is one of the greatest anime series that i’ve every seen. this time i want to talk to u guys about the knightmare frames. i call all robots that u enter and do battle gundams so bear with me.. and keep that in mind with my future posts. *gundam doesn’t mean actual gundam unless i specify, but it means big robots that humans control.* anyways, these gundams for a start aren’t that much bigger than an actual human. they have a weird design which instead of putting the pilot directly in the center of the mecha, they have them in a pod on its back. at first, i thought this was weird and i almost stopped watching the series. but the further i got into the series and the more i saw these things battle, the more i fell in love with the show, especially the white lancelot and the red guren. but this post is my tribute to the knightmare frames and their awesomeness, note, in the first season they could not fly and i thought that was cool, but in the second season they developed tech to allow them to fly, but its limited so the battles have to be fast and to the point. but enjoy this vid i found on youtube and click the post to watch the code geass series, it really is great….

the couple of seconds that i saw for this trailer makes this movie look amazing. but after brotherhood, i don’t know how much more they can cover in this universe. it pretty much came full circle, and was one of the most complete anime series that i’ve seen.

the sad thing about this ass kicking is rock was still a kid during the events in this movie. he is like 899xs stronger now, but what the hell, its still a great show of a true ninja with all that power shit, just straight fighting.

we are already starting off 2012 here at modtv big. when i say big, i mean, we are getting superior upgrades, starting back up the podcast which will be more entertaining in my opinion.( thanks to the ever enthusiastic bunny), she’s gonna bring a lot of emotion and cheerfulness to the podcasts. which means that it isn’t going to be guys talking from their points of view, now u guys are gonna get gaming, anime, and movies from a woman’s point of view now. matter of fact as soon as monkey edits the podcast from last night, u will get a taste of the how modtv is gonna rock ur world this entire year.
now lets talk about our character of the week. he comes from the anime FULLMETAL PANIC, he’s sagara sousuke, and he’s the first beast of the year. oddly he looks like hero yui from the gundam wing series, almost exactly like him but he has a scar on his chin.
back to sousuke, he has been fighting as a child solider when he’s introduced in this anime, he is a self proclaimed “pro”. what he has in battle experience i can’t phantom to describe it, but the man is amazing. the downside to his intense military superiority is, he is so into battle strategies that he lacks all if any common sense and tact. so he just blurts out whatever comes to mind which often offends the others around him. he made the cut because from all the years of him fighting and getting all types of assignments, he get one that has him completely out of place. its to protect a valuable girl named kaname chidori. she’s special, u have to watch the series to figure out how special she is. anywho, he has to in filtrate a highschool and try to blend in to protect chidori without her knowing. and that my friends is where the anime shines, he is so used to shooting any obstacle that gets in his way that he doesn’t know how to deal with highschool life without blowing or shooting something up….lol congrats sagara sousuke, u are the first bad ass of the year, and i linked u guys to the series within the post, so if u want to see it for urself, please do, u aren’t wasting ur time.
if u are a comicbook fan then this is the movie that u have been waiting for ur entire life. i mean, at the end of ironman when nick fury hinted at the avenger project i almost shit myself. then came hulk with the stark cameo, and then ironman 2, thats when i knew that the avenger movie was set in stone. i don’t give a damn who they fight in this movie, just having captain america and thor and ironman in the same movie is enough for me, marvel might shit actors on their contracts, but they sure as hell know how to cast the right ppl to play these iconic characters. Ironman rebooted robert downey jr’s career and he totally owned that role, so did chris evans, i didn’t think that he could pull off being the stern supersolider because the majority of his roles had him being a wise ass. but he was more believable as captain and i wouldn’t change the casting for the world. but most of u guys have to know that by samuel l. jackson being fury, that means that the avengers will be set in the ultimates timeline, and that timeline is gritty and raw, and shows the characters as u’ve never visioned them before, i can’t wait.
now, what the hell else do i have to say about this movie? im super pumped to see this as well. chris nolan has earned my respect in the sense of batman. i don’t question shit this man does and i don’t question his casting and the choice of baddies that batman has to fight in his movies. well this time around its bane played by the talented tom hardy. as always, nolan keeps a tight ship as to not let any info out until he is ready. but from what i can tell it will kinda sorta play on the comics. as far as, bane comes to gotham knowing batman’s secret, unleashes tons of inmates that batman has to battle. upon beating them he returns to wayne manor to find bane waiting for him in his exhausted state, there he breaks batman’s back. i know that it isn’t going to be exactly like the comics, but i know it will be similar and more epic with greater depth on the characters, oh, and it has catwoman too. but these two movies are going to own the 2012 year……sound off and let men know which do u think is gonna be king.
